In 1949, Aloysius Archer arrives in the dusty Southern town of Poca City. He has nothing but a handful of dollars, the clothes he’s wearing and an appointment with his new parole officer. After his wartime experiences in Italy and a prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, Archer is looking for a fresh start and a peaceful life. On his first night of freedom, Archer meets local business tycoon Hank Pittleman, who promises Archer handsome compensation to work as his debt collector.

What made the experience of listening to Need You Dead the most enjoyable?

The story and the narrator The continuity of the story line I've read them all

What was one of the most memorable moments of Need You Dead?

Oh dear I'm afraid the ending I won't spoil it as it doesn't really form part of the main story Just the last few lines kept me up all night watching the ceiling

What does Daniel Weyman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Oh much more makes it come alive Makes it real

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again the ending chapter was brilliant

Any additional comments?

Well I'm not giving any spoilers I do love Roy Grace ,he's such a real character Can't wait for next book , with a certain person on the loose again Really enjoyed listening to this book Excellent narrator
