This could be a good read, but for me the accompanying background music was SO annoying that I could not continue listening.

A new Genre for me to explore, I became invested in several of the characters from the start, but the fluffy purring space cats, with big guns and grapplers, are my personal favourites.

Will Shatner is not really known for comedy, Tvs 3rd Rock from the Sun and the film Airplane 2 being exceptions, so I was very surprised to finding myself laughing out loud throughout the Audio book.

Thanks Bill.

Not just a tale of the North West passage but of a ship serving the Royal Navy and of the British Empire during a great explosion of antarctic and artic discovery.
A story I knew little about, brought to life by Michael Palin, sorry now Sir Michael Palin, in way I could easily pick up or switch on as I drive from home to work each day.
I recommend this audio book as a worthy contribution to British History.

it might be a good book but it was terribly read, monotonous, same voice for all characters and narration. Gordon Griffin should get a different job or learn how to be better at reading.

A terrible recording of a fabulous story. The male reader is totally unsuited to narrate this story. His character voices are terrible making for very unpleasant listening.
In my personal opinion do not purchase this version.
