This, for me, is the greatest story ever told. Not just for kids, the story and language are sophisticated and grip the reader from the first few words until the end. It is, at times a hard listen; be ready to feel altogether a bit Lapine.

The statistics - and the gaps in them - presented in this book are hard hitting and shocking. Caroline's work and her reading style make a joy out of such a hard listen. This is going on my Christmas list for everyone.

Thank you Emer. As someone struggling to find feminist role models, your experience, learning and wisdom are extremely helpful to me. I've thrown away the razor, but I think I'll keep the lipstick.

Watch for creeping hypochondria! Loved the author's honesty and, at times, cantankerous tone. Everything I'd imagined a brain surgeon to be.

Sadly this is no The Secret Barrister. Fairly dull subject matter but at least written with some literary flair. Didn't teach or entertain to the extent promised.

Long and detailed but a great analysis and summary of the current political environments around the world and the issues they face.
