In 1982 Murakami began running to keep fit. Here he reflects on his running experiences. Equal parts travelogue, training log, and reminiscence, this revealing memoir covers his preparation for the 2005 New York City Marathon. By turns funny and sobering, playful and philosophical, this is a must-listen for fans of this masterful author and for the increasing number of people who find a similar satisfaction in running.

I was glad to hear someone struggling at the start,, getting better but still quite ordinary, he talks well of the feeling and reason for running,,

1913 - Suffragette throws herself under the King's horse. 1969 - Feminists storm Miss World. Now - Caitlin Moran rewrites "The Female Eunuch" from a bar stool and demands to know why pants are getting smaller. There's never been a better time to be a woman: we have the vote and the Pill, and we haven't been burnt as witches since 1727. However, a few nagging questions do remain.... Why are we supposed to get Brazilians? Should you get Botox? Do men secretly hate us? What should you call your vagina?

No timeline.. hard to follow and just sick of hearing her hero worship Greer who is a feminist A-hole ..
So disappointed by it and could not even finish it.

Her solo stand up show, Susan Calman Is Convicted, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and dealt with subjects like the death penalty, appearance and depression. The reaction to the show she wrote about mental health was so positive that she wanted to expand on the show and write a more detailed account of surviving when you're the world's most negative person.

He planned to attack two coaches of teenagers returning home after a school trip to France. Approximately 60 children, their accompanying teachers and their waiting parents. Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Some of the Details were Gruesome and made of the things nightmares are set from, I was intrigued and scared and often felt sick at the extent of his descriptions,
However it kept me engrossed and interested with the pure insight of how the world works and how FEAR is a tool for many individuals

Any additional comments?

Brilliant insight, amazing personal stories and I feel this man is Blessed with amazing and supportive friends and partners,
If you combine this with being a LOT mad then you will ENJOY every word of this amazing story,
Why anyone would do some of the things he has done in his long and fantastic life is beyond reason but makes for a Enthralling Audio book

I say this is a story of survival and perseverance that leads to a point where you will believe in angels .
I am Trans and this story followed a life of pain. a life of self doubt and fear. then with all the stubbornness of a Woman she turned the corner and not only survived the press onslaught but became a role model for many people who identify as Transgender.
If you want to learn more listen to this. you will NOT regret it .. that I am sure xx
I am a true fan of Caroline.. and hope one day to meet this unbelievably beautiful Lady ..
Till then I will continue the work she started ..
