Metres away, the drowned body of another girl is found on an isolated beach. The scene was well set, the narration excellent, and from the beginning held my attention. The representation of the various characters by Richard Armitage excellent. The story is very well constructed and gripping. Normally I would listen to a story of this length over four to five days this I listened to in less than two days. Superb.

Would you consider the audio edition of Triple Crown to be better than the print version?

Have not read the print version so no comment

Who was your favorite character and why?

Paddy, he is the story

Have you listened to any of Martin Jarvis’s other performances? How does this one compare?

This is the first tine I have listened to Martin Jarvis and was very impressed with how he presented the characters. Those that were meant to be threatening were. He is able to convey, by subtle changes in his voice, the emotions within the characters. Very good.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

No real idea

Any additional comments?

Whilst the story was interesting it was not Dick Francis
