Their love affair began intensely and passionately. Princess Adeline and Josh Jameson knew any future together was impossible - her status as a princess and his standing as a Hollywood heartthrob dictated that. But the heights of pleasure they could take each other to were wildly unanticipated by them both. But then a cruel turn of events rips their worlds apart, and Adeline is more bound than ever by the protocol and expectations her title commands.

fantastic story from a fantastic author. never has Jodi put out a book that has been been less than 5 stars.
naration was fantastic and you really felt that all the many different characters had their own voice.
if I had to say one negative point it would have to be the TV interview towards the end of the story, I'm not going to give anything away but it felt more like a Jeremy Kyle interview than a a long awaited decloration

I purchased this audio book as I've read several other titles from this author and always enjoyed them.
this was a a real struggle to start with. I found myself having to rewind and re listen to parts of the story I had missed and even stopped listening altogether at one point. I couldn't work out why I was struggling so much and before retuning the book though I'd have another look to see if I'd downloaded the wrong title and had another read of the reviews. Although they mostly said fantastic story I did see one review that said stick with it. I'm so glad I did, if you can get through the first half of the book then it is worth the effort.
the first part, although goes on for ever, is needed to make sense of the second half of the story. I did enjoy this is the end and glad I didn't give up

A new standalone novel from Jodi Ellen Malpas, the best-selling author of the This Man and One Night trilogies. Annie has never experienced the 'spark' with a guy - the kind of instant chemistry that steals your breath and blindsides you completely. Until a night out with friends brings her face to face with the wickedly sexy and mysterious Jack. It's not just a spark that ignites between them. It's an explosion. Jack promises to consume Annie, and he fully delivers on that promise.

yet another fantastic read from jodi. for those who complain about the adulterous storyline I'd just say not to be put off by this. the author has handled this subject with great sensitivity, and if I avoided every work of fiction with a topic I found offensive then my kindle library wouldn't be half as full as it is.
If I had to find fault all I can say is there are so many American terms starting to show up in a story about a London girl that's set in London. but that's just me being picky, however the English accent with American pronunciations did get a little annoying as the story went on.
10 out of 10 for the story
9 out of 10 for the naration
