I loved this book the characters were superbly drawn, I couldn't stop listening . The description of the abuse suffered by Miriam was graphic and utterly compelling as were the stories of the women at Ravensbruk . Brilliant narrators the last words spoken by Simon Callow made me cry. Bravo to the author and to audible for the production.

A good story tackling a variety of difficult subjects. Very much a book for women. I enjoyed it but found it rather predictable
