The Rabbit Girls cover art

Audible Masterclass

This is definitely one of the best audible books An absolute brilliant narrative The story is heart breaking interestingly the main character is a victim of domestic abuse mental abuse causing her to self-harm which we are so aware of today I'm sure this will stand with the main bestsellers such as The Tattooist of Auschwitz
It's a book where the audible is outstanding and a first book for the author.

I'm not sure I would recommend this book There is so many books in this genre that are better Found myself appalled by the deception of the family of the deceased male character There was no good reason to lie so blatantly just so she could have a comfortable home The SOE storyline was not convincing to me

The story itself didn't impress me It was so so very lame and half-hearted Unfortunately even the British story line wasn't that interesting The narrator held the story up but I'd not recommend It as a riveting read

It was a well written book I particularly liked the characters but the Spanish twist was a bit unnecessary we where introduced to him as a gentle horse whisperrer in love with his childhood sweetheart
It was very well narrated

I initially found the beginning of this book too graphic but I fortunately persevered A truly mesmeric read I am a huge Mark Bramhall fan Having enjoyed a previous narrative He literally is genius at storytelling

My expectations were high After reading reviews I expected an amazing read perhaps too much. It was well narrated but it just missed out on being a story that stands with the best of WW11 fiction Unfortunately for me I paid a premium price

Admittedly it took me few chapters to familiarize the characters but as soon as I understood the storyline I was amazed at the historical detail and totally enjoyed every moment Stayed awake in final chapters. Narrator is becoming brilliant with different accents

Only good thing Juliet Stevenson Mumbled family characters all arguing about "communism" Could not even follow storyline Then imprisoned and tortured I'm aware of human rights etc but if a document was signed release followed So disappointed
