- An Ancient Indian Epic
- By: Ayur Pulle, Shreyas Pulle
- Narrated by: Ayur Pulle, Shreyas Pulle
- Length: 1 hr and 7 mins
The great Indian epic - the Ramayana - has been told and retold over thousands of years by poets, performers, and writers. It is a tale of courage and fear, love and hate, devotion and betrayal. The epic spans the three worlds of gods, humans, and demons. Here, the forces of good and evil collide, locked in a battle for the ultimate supremacy. Rama, the crown prince of Kosala, descendent of the timeless Surya dynasty, must face unimaginable danger, but what lies in his destiny?

A wonderful story, beautifully narrated by the Pulle brothers, which made me feel like I went back in time for a moment, back when I listened to the other kids telling amazing stories during sleepovers. Warm and under a pile of covers, I listened to the brothers narrating the adventures and the bravery of Rama, it made me feel closer to the Indian culture which I find very fascinating! My favourite chapter was the one about the Golden Deer, in my mind I could picture very clearly the way the creature gracefully walked in the forest, shining between the green leaves and capturing the attention of princess Sita. There are so many interesting characters it's hard to choose a favourite one! I have also heard of a puppet spectacle of Ramayana and I feel very inspired to see it after finishing reading this story.
