Thoroughly entertaining adaptation of some of AC's best known work, as well as a few less famous stories.
What was supposed to be a companion to every day chores, I found myself pausing to listen more intently to scenes as they played out. Tasks took longer, but "the little grey cells" were simulated.

Insightful, touching, humourous look at what happens in recovery (maybe).
Meet a mixed band of brave people who attend a weekly meeting.
Once you begin listening, Love In Recovery provides a glimpse into why people begin drinking, stop drinking, want to stop drinking. Because their tales are tragi-comic, you want to join them again and again to see how they're getting on.

Welcome to the wide world of paranormal pastimes, where striking out might strike you dead. Editors Charlaine Harris and Toni L. P. Kelner are your announcers for this all-new story collection of the most peculiar plays ever made.… Sports fans live and die by their teams’ successes and failures - though not literally. But these 14 authors have written spirited - in more ways than one - new tales of killer competitions that would make even the most die-hard players ask to be benched.

Graham Norton's masterful debut is an intelligently crafted story of love, secrets and loss. The remote Irish village of Duneen has known little drama, and yet its inhabitants are troubled. Sergeant PJ Collins hasn't always been this overweight; mother of two Brid Riordan hasn't always been an alcoholic; and elegant Evelyn Ross hasn't always felt that her life was a total waste.

Human bones are discovered on a new construction site in Duneen, Co Cork. We follow the local Gard officer, PJ, who feels completely out of his depth at first, as he discovers the hidden tales of other villagers.
The characters are well-drawn and develope as events are uncovered and, while there are few heart-stopping moments, there is an urge to read on, to find out what happens on the next page/in the next chapter.
A delightfully gentle story, which is paced well enough to read, put down, pick up again without losing momentum. I can easily imagine reading it all in one session.
