A new landscape was formed after the storm, and with it the promise of a new beginning. One race to dominate this land. One race to survive. Words were uttered beneath the Saxon while Howie fought the undead. Words that brought a whole new pressure. To be relentless and unceasing. To charge forward and never give up. To do what it takes to survive. That pressure was building, and it became too much. Howie faltered, losing his mind as they ran through the fog and sought the doctors so desperately needed.

A brilliantly written book again as normal, shame only 1 more to come in the series. I have written many reviews about all Mark Tufo books but after listening to many great books recently I was nervous it would be as good as normal but it was better. Why? it is like comming home it is a great story but with a humor that brings you into the book to be part of it. I think that is Marks skill, other books are very very good and the story is brilliant. But a Mark Tufo book it very very good but it has another dimension, it engulfs you and draws you in you become part of the story, you laugh and cry with the story. For me it is the humour that draws me in from listening to being part of the book. Gutted only 1 more in series to come but always following the group in other books also. 100% recommend this and other Tufo books

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Wow there are some great reviews on this book but time and time I try to finish this book and it just really does not work on the narration level. I am such a Mark Tufo fan and Sean Runnette is brilliant, the best narrator on Audible in my view followed by R C Bray. I really just can not connect to Julia Whelan narration though, every time she narrates i think this is so boring and it is almost like blacking out as i just can't remember what she was saying. I don't want to sound rude and however big a fan of Mark i am this just did not work for me I really don't think i will ever be able to finish this book as the joint narration does not work for me.

What was most disappointing about Mark Tufo and Armand Rosamilia ’s story?

I could not follow the story sorry due to amazing and terrible narration.

Would you be willing to try another one of Sean Runnette and Julia Whelan ’s performances?

Sean yes 100% Julia sorry i see others love you so good luck to you but i am an oddity where the narration really turns me off and i just can not follow the plot.

Any additional comments?

Please see my review and then others, Mark is an amazing writer so if the narration is good for you then go for it as i don't doubt it is a brilliant story if you can follow it through the narration.

But the young girl is an innocent, a victim, one of millions the war has already claimed. Her innocence has been sacrificed by a man with singular purpose: a man who will stop at nothing in order to prepare Earth for the coming conflict.

Would you try another book written by Stephen Moss or narrated by R. C. Bray?

Narrated by RC Bray you bet written by S Moss unlikely

What was most disappointing about Stephen Moss’s story?

The stupid way they took out the hero but used all his work...... the book just went on just filling pages tried to deal with issues but pointless ones really.

What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?

He narrated this flop brilliantly

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Fear the Future?

the destruction of the hero for stupid reasoning.

Any additional comments?

loved the first two books written so well but this was a pants finish to be honest writer ran out of ideas. Overall if you read first 2 books you must do this one but the double standards ruin the book really.

Abandoned by other international leaders, Jack Ryan alone counters the threat posed by Russian president Valeri Volodin. This isn't the first time that the dictator has threatened world peace, but this time he's playing a very nuanced game, moving chess pieces around the board while isolating Ryan from the rest of the international community. Fortunately, Jack Ryan, Jr. and the rest of his Campus team find themselves in the middle of action with a vital clue to the Russian's intentions.
