The stories worked really well using the audio and then the physical book to check on the detail. I used it as preparation for my CEFR B1 exams

I can’t recommend this book enough! Very well written and very easy to listen to. From compassionate politics, personal insights on people and situations to being a great manual for being prime minister. I will now go and buy the hardback book, so that I can re-read the key points again!

It was a wonderful story that gripped all the way through. I found it better played at a slower rate as the full speed audible was too fast!

I listen to a lot of books and the combination of a fascinating story with the best performance I’ve ever heard makes this a ‘must listen’.

I wished that Prisoners of Geography had been written years ago so that I could have been better informed about the World. Divided has built on that platform brilliantly using examples of walls and conflicts between countries and people’s, drawing out the lessons, being even handed and coming up with a thoughtful and workable conclusion that everyone should be given the privilege to ponder. I will re-read it to make sure I have it all at my finger tips for the future. Thoroughly recommend the book!

The idea of a full Italian history is really good, but it is difficult to understand as it has been translated and is read by someone who is not native to English

I will be recommending this book to my friends. I have already bought a paper copy too so that I can dip into it more easily. I enjoyed it tremendously and will be re-reading it to try and memorise the key points. It is very amusing and well read. It is very thought provoking and I will be trying to challenge myself with some of its ideas.

Every human being should be able to read this book and take something useful from it. I will read the paper copy now so that I can mull over the key ideas and thoughts.

It has riveted my attention and given me more food for thought than any other book that I have read. I also read Sapiens and thought it also excellent both as a history and as a primer for Homo Deus.

Previous generations could not have grasped the points the author makes, but we, as a generation, are lucky to be able to see backwards and forwards from this point in time. Homo Deus is able to give us some clues as to where we (Sapiens) are in the context of time and keep us thinking. Thanks for a great book!

Simply - everyone ought to read Sapiens. The background to human history, the analysis of why we arrived at this point in history, where we, as humans, are now and what most likely lies ahead are clearly explained. This gives an excellent view on all the really important topics of our day
