While the narrator's reading is perfectly reasonable her character's voices are tortuous. Do not recommend this edition.

The storyline is fast paced & engaging. I enjoy Mark Dawson's work, but I do wish he'd take the time to make a second or third revision & edit. It's sloppy and grates, therefore detracting from what would otherwise be a very good read. PS. Get another word for asphalt.

The story is an excellent example of Jilly Cooper's work and I was looking forward to its audio release, but having reached chapter 8 I'm giving up with the audiobook. I'm finding the narration distracting, particularly the strange inflections and speech patterns it spoils the enjoyment of the book. I'm sorry.

While the author offers a range of helpful tools, unless you take notes while listening it will be off little use. A PDF would have been useful with this book.
