Cast Me Not Away is my debut novel. I've been a writer all my adult life. In addition to book editing and public relations work, I've published many articles in national magazines. My current focus is on my next novel. While completing another project, little Robbie suddenly appeared in my imagination. After several days of persistent prodding, it became clear he would give me no peace until I responded. Setting everything else aside, I set about bringing Robbie to life. That was several years ago. Much of what I imagined then has already become reality. Pray other events of the book don't as well. My husband and I live on Oregon's south coast, enjoying the moderate temperatures and wonderful wildlife. We have a dog and a cat. In addition, I raise small exotic birds, primarily Rosy Bourke Parakeets ... my favorites. Peace and Blessings, Zara
