As parents raising mixed-heritage children, we noticed something missing on our bookshelves—stories where our kids could see themselves. Not just in how they looked, but in how they live: celebrating different cultures, blending traditions, and asking big, beautiful questions about where they come from. Mango and Marmalade Stories began with Filipino–British roots, inspired by our own family. But this is just the beginning. We hope to build a library of stories that celebrate all kinds of cultural blends—stories that reflect the beautifully diverse world we live in. Stories where all children feel seen, valued, and curious about others. We write these stories with love and hope, so children grow up kind, proud of who they are, and ready to stand up for others. We want them to celebrate what makes us different, and to imagine a future where everyone belongs and no one is left out. We want to create gentle, joyful adventures that help kids feel proud of who they are, while also opening their hearts to the wider world. Many cultures. Shared stories. One world.
