Vee Kumari is a Professor Emeritus at the UC Davis Medical Center and the USC KECK School Of medicine. Since retiring in 2012, she has pursued writingand acting as careers.

DHARMA, A Rekha Rao Mystery is her debut novel, inspired by her love for the mystery Genre and her observations about Indian Americans and Indian immigrants in the United States. It's now a feature script that Vee hopes to produce.

ANKANAM, An Inner Courtyard, her second novel, was recently published by Nu Vue Books in India and is being distributed by Penguin Random House. It's scheduled to be available on Amazon in the United States by mid-September.
