Unai Goikoetxea (1974) was born in Bilbao where he actually lives with his wife and siblings. Although he studied Sociology in the University of Deusto he soon focus his efforts in working in the public administration. A great reader since young, he devoured history, fantasy and sci-fi books alike. With the turn of the years, he broadened his literary tastes to the 19th and 20th century’s classics. A contumacious fan of noir and crime novels, his influences can be sought beetwen the pages of such writers as Poe, Conan Doyle, Hammett, Chandler, Malet, Lemaitre, Kerr, Michael Connelly and Fred Vargas, among other.
