Dr. Tursun Alkam is a multifaceted researcher and neuroscientist with extensive expertise in studying the behavioral and molecular mechanisms of learning and memory. Holding an MD and a PhD in Cell Information Medicine from Nagoya University School of Medicine, Japan, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Alkam seamlessly integrates scientific inquiry with business and management strategies. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Alkam has focused on critical issues such as the mechanisms of amyloid beta neurotoxicity and identifying therapeutic candidates for Alzheimer's disease. His work also investigates the effects of prenatal nicotine exposure on offspring behavior and develops models for understanding cognitive impairments in cancer survivors. He has authored around 30 peer-reviewed research papers and book chapters, showcasing his talent for translating complex scientific data into accessible narratives. Currently, Dr. Alkam is expanding his expertise in technology by pursuing a master's in applied AI, bridging his deep neuroscience insights with AI mechanisms. This interdisciplinary approach inspired him to write books, aiming to demystify AI and neuroscience for a wide audience, from young students to the elderly, fostering a generational dialogue about AI and Brain. Through his book series, Dr. Alkam aims to make AI accessible and engaging for all, promoting innovative thinking and practical problem-solving through hands-on experiments.
