Born in 1969 in Gostivar, Republic of Northern Macedonia, Tony Jeton Selimi comes from a hard-working restaurateur family who instilled great values and the importance education, service, and humility play in bettering our and other people’s lives. During his younger years, despite all the love at home, he was exposed to mental, physical, and emotional abuse, an illness that left him hospitalised for almost two years, and he was bullied at school. Early in his life, he learned to appreciate life’s ups and downs and focused his mental faculties on excelling in every school he attended. He moved to London in 1990 at age 20 to find a haven from the atrocities of the civil war he had to fight. Everything he chose and wanted in life was taken from him. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, he went from living homeless and penniless to graduating from one of the top five engineering universities in the UK, University College London. He spent more than a decade successfully climbing the corporate ladder, delivering multi-million and billion technology transformation programs and continuously investing in his personal and professional growth. In 2012, following the uncertainty the 2008 global market meltdown bought into his life, he took a leap of faith, left the 9 to 5 job and founded the TJS Cognition Ltd, an international coaching and training practice dedicated to exploring, expanding, and evolving the frontiers of human awareness and potential.
