Thomas Tunstall, Ph.D. is a film, television, book critic, screenwriter and author. He is the former senior research director at the Institute for Economic Development at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has published peer-reviewed research, written op-ed articles for the Wall Street Journal, testified before the U.S. House Subcommittee for the Western Hemisphere, obtained Top Secret clearance and delivered a TED Talk on rural community development. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy, and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
