Thom Brooks is an award winning American-British author, policy advisor and speaker. He is Professor of Law and Government at Durham University, former Dean of the Law School 92016-2021) and affiliated with the Philosophy and Political Science departments. Brooks is an executive board member of the Fabian Society, the Society of Labour Lawyers, a trustee of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and the former President of the Society of Legal Scholars. He has visited at Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, Oxford, Penn, St Andrews, Uppsala and Yale.
