GySgt (Ret.) Tee Marie Hanible is a Marine Corps veteran, bestselling author, and nationally recognized activist. After a challenging childhood in Chicago, she enlisted at 17 and deployed to Iraq as the only female in her unit. In 2011, she founded Operation Heroes Connect, which mentors at-risk youth and sends over 100 children to summer camp annually. She was honored at the White House by President Obama and received the 2025 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden. Tee co-starred on FOX’s American Grit and served as National Veterans Chair for the 2017 Women’s March. As founder of #VetsForKaepernick, she continues to lead on racial justice, veteran advocacy, and women’s rights. She has been featured in Newsweek, The Washingtonian, Chicago Tribune, Lifetime, CNN, and MSNBC.
