Sydney Gloom writes romance for readers who like their love stories sharp around the edges and impossible to quit. Her books live in the space where obsession blurs into devotion, where villains get the girl, and where “happily ever after” is earned through fire, fury, and a little emotional wreckage.

Known for her emotionally intense, high-heat contemporary romances and gritty college sagas, Sydney explores the darker side of love—the kind that tests boundaries, challenges red flags, and dares to ask whether ruin can be romantic. From hormone-charged Ivy League corridors to shadowed worlds where power and passion collide, her stories pulse with angst, danger, and the unmistakable thrill of “touch her and you’re dead” energy.

A firm believer in the never-ending story of love, Sydney crafts heroes who are a little broken, a little dangerous, and wholly devoted to the one woman who sees their humanity. Expect friends-to-lovers tension that crackles, enemies forced into close quarters, dark academia aesthetics, and relationships that burn slow before they blaze.

Behind the pen name is a young mother of two under thirty, juggling sticky fingers, sleepless nights, and the beautiful chaos of real life while writing about the love struggles of fictional ones. When she isn’t orchestrating daily mayhem or chasing deadlines, she’s fueled by cold coffee, moody playlists, and rainy afternoons that feel like the opening scene of a tragic love story.

Sydney Gloom writes for the girls who prefer the villain, who see red flags as intrigue instead of warning signs, and who believe that sometimes love isn’t soft or simple—it’s intense, dark, addictive… and worth every scar.
