Suzan trained as a newspaper journalist and worked on regional and national newspapers before moving into TV production at Central and Granada Television Studios. She produced a variety of television news and lifestyle programmes and was Series Producer of ITV’s network daytime talk show Loose Women.
Married to musician, actor and presenter Noddy Holder, Suzan has one son, two step-daughters and two step-grandchildren. She loves music, dancing, dirty martinis and clunky (rather than kinky) boots.
Suzan has written for newspapers, television and theatre. Her romcom books are inspired by a passion for music, a love of travel and some real-life escapades in a rock n’roll world.
Her debut novel Shake It Up, Beverley, published by One More Chapter is a romantic comedy about Beatles fan Beverley and her internet dating adventures. Paul McCartney has a copy and declared it to be ‘fab’ !
Her second novel 'Rock 'n' Rose' set at Graceland, Elvis Presley's Memphis home, tells the story of Daisy who sets off to Tennessee after a shocking confession from her beloved grandmother. Is there really a link between Daisy and the King of Rock n’ Roll and will a handsome motorcycle cop help her find the truth?
What Would Dolly Do? Is Suzan’s third book and weaves lots of the wise-cracking wisdom of country music’s Dolly Parton through the story. Becky is a great singer but has such terrible stage-fright she can only perform dressed as a Dolly tribute. Can she find her own voice, image and success after encountering a huge country music star swaggers into her bar.
