Steve grew up on a stony stretch of the south coast, nourished by a diet of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. For a kid who read so many books and asked so many questions, it took Steve an embarrassingly long time to realise that he too could be an author. It took even longer to become one. Along the way, he’s been a product designer, a communications director, a technology consultant, a speechwriter, a magazine editor, a webcaster, and a copywriter. Though rarely at the same time. Nowadays he writes tech-filled adventures for curious young readers. He is not a spy, nor is he a robot. Well, not completely.
