Slade James is a gay man writing and narrating MM romance.

He grew up in Tennessee in the 1970s, and studied English/Creative Writing at the University of Georgia in the late 1980s. His time in Athens, GA gave rise to the Cool Town novellas, and years spent at men’s campgrounds in the American South inspired the Bear Camp series.

He and his partner Steven divide their time between a replica 19th century farmhouse on Sand Mountain in NE Alabama — dogs, barn, creek, pond — and Chattanooga, where the cats live.
