Sean Hepburn Ferrer was born in Burgenstock, Lucerne, Switzerland on July 17, 1960 to Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer. For 47 years, Sean has worked in every aspect of the Entertainment industry: from film & television development, production & marketing to the management of IPs and their related commercial applications. In 1993 Sean founded the 'Audrey Hepburn Estate', dedicated to the protection and fostering of his mother's legacy related intellectual property rights as well as a series of non profits dedicated to continuing his mother’s humanitarian legacy as a UNICEF ambassador. In 2013 he was appointed Honorary Chair of the Audrey Hepburn Society at the US Fund for UNICEF. He was also the Ambassador for Eurordis, the European Organization for Rare Diseases (2013-2017). He is the author of the New York Times best seller 'Audrey Hepburn, An Elegant Spirit' which has gone on to sell worldwide in more than a dozen languages. He is also the co-author, with his wife Karin, of Little Audrey's Daydream, a children's biography of his mother. Sean lives between Madrid, Spain and Florence, Italy with his wife Karin. Their respective 5 children are all adults.
