English-born author Sara M Jackson studied journalism in London before moving to America 15 years ago to write for a fashion magazine. Her love of writing has been with her since childhood, and it was always her only career choice. Sara began writing novellas and short stories in her early teens, and continued as an escape from the seriousness of her studying and then corporate writing. Sara aims to write stories centered around strong women who often question the traditional paths and ideals they are supposed to have. She hopes by exploring and challenging these stereotypes, and introducing the idea of love between women; she can break down some of the pre-conceived ideas people have around lesbianism, and make it more about how two people feel, and what they can teach each other, rather than just whether they are male or female. After relocating to New Jersey, Sara is writing fiction full-time. She lives with her partner Louise, and they have recently taken up Salsa dancing. With a passion for food, Sara loves to cook and takes inspiration from her travels, with Thailand being a firm favorite, and she hopes to learn the language before her next visit.
