From the author:
I write from the conviction that ordinary life does not exhaust reality. Beneath the visible, the social, and the psychological there exists a wider dimension — sacred, heroic, tragic — that continues to act, even though the modern world has forgotten how to name it.
My novels arise from the encounter between that dimension and contemporary consciousness. I am not interested in reproducing the realism of everyday life, but in exploring what happens when a human existence comes into contact with forces that cannot be reduced or domesticated: myth, violence, desire, the absolute.
For me, fiction is a form of invocation. Words do not merely describe — they create realities. A book should expand perception, restore depth to the real, and reintroduce into experience what has been expelled by modern normality.
My work belongs to the tradition of European Romanticism understood as an ontology, not as a style: a way of returning the infinite to the finite. As Novalis wrote: “To give the ordinary a higher meaning, to grant the known the dignity of the unknown, and to bestow upon the finite the appearance of the infinite — that is to romanticize.”
