Sam Meekings is an acclaimed British novelist and poet. He is the author of Under Fishbone Clouds (called “a poetic evocation of the country and its people” by the New York Times), The Book of Crows, and The Afterlives of Doctor Gachet. He has also been featured on the BBC website, in The Independent, on Arena on Radio 1, and in the National Geographic. He recently received an award from the Society of Authors, and has been published in a number of international magazines and academic journals. He has spent the last few years living and working in China and the Middle East. He balances his time between teaching, raising two kids as a single father, and drinking copious cups of tea.
