Salem Hurley writes romantic suspense at varying heat levels. Her stories straddle the line between psychological suspense and slow-burn romance, with just enough control to make you question who's really in charge. Whether it's a missing person case or a twisted obsession hiding in plain sight, she builds tension from the inside out, one flawed character at a time.

When she’s not writing, she runs Burn & Bloom Press, drinks dangerous amounts of Community Coffee, and spoils her readers with early access and ARCs.

Before diving into fiction full-time, Salem worked as a 911 dispatcher, a job that taught her exactly how fast things can go from calm to chaos. During her time behind the headset, she helped deliver three babies and earned five lifesaver awards.

She now lives in the high desert of Oregon with her husband and two dogs, where the skies are wide, the coffee is strong, and the ideas never stop. She rotates a complicated fictional situationship with the MMCs she falls in love with.
