Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, IL, fantasy and the art of storytelling has been a dream of Solomeen Montagueo's ever since he laid eyes on works such as Spirited away, Avatar, the last Airbender, the Harry Potter books, and various amounts of anime and video games. With a father that was in and out of jail and a single mother that had four other children to raise in a rough Chicago neighborhood, fantasy was a way for Solomeen to escape the world at night, and now as an adult, living with his fiance and high school sweetheart, the opportunity has arisen for him to put everything he adored as a boy into a work of his own, starting with a debut novel. There's a reason we're told to follow our dreams, and Solomeen Montagueo is doing just that.
