ROSS S. SIMON was born Sam Ridings in La Crosse, WI, in 1979. He spent the bulk of his childhood in Winona, MN; moved to Santa Cruz, CA (where he still lives today), at age nine; graduated from Soquel High School in 1997; and from Cabrillo College in 2005, the latter with an AA degree in Basic Liberal Arts. Mr. Simon's hobbies include pinball gaming, collecting pop memorabilia, and reading very interesting novels of various genres. His first horror novel, "The Snow," was published by Eternal Press/Damnation Books in 2012; and his follow-up, "Red Dahlia," by the same firm in 2013. His third horror novel was released in late 2016 by Caliburn Press, "Arthur O' The Bower," based on the archaic British-Isles children's rime. In addition to the four horror shorts he features on Amazon KDP, Mr. Simon also has had a short entitled "Metamorphosed" included in Scare Street's Night Terrors anthology, volume 16, as of 2021.
