Bob O'Neill is the author of three books, concerning Civil War cavalry operations in Northern Virginia. His most recent book, Small but Important Riots, The Cavalry Battles of Aldie, Middleburg, and Upperville, is a completely new edition of his first book, and reflects thirty years of continuing research and interpretation.
