Peter Stanford is a writer, journalist and broadcaster. His previous investigations into the history, theology and cultural significance of religious ideas include 'The Devil - A Biography' and 'Judas: The Troubling History of the Renegade Apostle' and most recently 'Martin Luther: Catholic Dissident'. He is the former editor of the Catholic Herald, and writes for the Daily and Sunday Telegraph titles, as well as The Observer and The Tablet. A collection of newspaper interviews he had done over three decades was published in 2018 as 'What We Talk About When We Talk About Faith'.
