Peter Crawley was born in London in 1956. He was educated at Cranleigh School in England, the Goethe Institut Freiburg-im-Breisgau in Germany and spent much of his youth in Germany, Austria, France and Corsica. Mazzeri, a novel of Corsica, was first published by Matador in 2013 and the stand-alone sequel Ontreto, a novel of Lipari, an island near Sicily, two years later. The Wind Between Two Worlds(2018) is the stand-alone prequel to Mazzeri, through which we get to know the central character of the two later novels. Boarding House Reach(2014), a contemporary character-driven novel, follows the lives of five residents of an hotel on the Norfolk coast, and The Truth In Fiction(2016) is a collection of short stories set in various locations around the globe. Peter's latest work, Constant Tides, published earlier this year, is a three part novel based on real historical events and follows the loves of three courageous women through the spring, summer and autumn of their lives in the Strait of Messina, Sicily. Peter Crawley is a former transatlantic yachtsman and historic motor racing pilot. His interests include his research, writing and skiing. He lives in Chertsey, Surrey, with his wife, Carol.
