While working as an environmentalist, Paula Wall took a couple of "snippets" she'd written to her local newspaper. One year later the National Society of Newspaper Columnists named her Humor Columnist of the Year. Wall's syndicated column, OFF THE WALL, went on to become Universal Press's number three internet column after Dear Abby and News of the Weird.

Her first book, MY LOVE IS FREE. . . BUT THE REST OF ME DON'T COME CHEAP, was a finalist for the Thurber Prize. Her next collection, IF I WERE A MAN, I'D MARRY ME, stayed on the Top Requested Humor Books List for 28-weeks.

Wall's first novel, THE ROCK ORCHARD, was a Book Sense Pick, a Barnes & Noble Discovery Book, Ingram's Premier Pick and nominated for the National Library Book Award. Her latest novel, THE WILDE WOMEN, is a National Bestseller and published in eight countries.

Paula is currently living out of suitcase and was last spotted in the Florida Keys.
