O’neil Peart was born in Kingston, Jamaica to two working-class parents. At age 8, he began using his acting ability to earn money in order to assist with his Education and daily survival. Whether it be poetry, acting, music or teaching, O’neil knew that talent was his ticket out of the “Inner city” of Greenwich Town. As a result, he kept his eye on the prize to becoming an entrepreneur who has since been Awarded with The Jamaica Prime Minister Youth Award for Excellence in Arts and Culture in 2007. This prestigious award is the highest to be bestowed on a Youth in Jamaica for Excellence. He was also featured with the group No-Maddz in the global sneaker Giant Puma’s “Puma Faas” campaign in 2011. He is currently being mentored by Island Records Founder “Chris” Blackwell, the man responsible for International Reggae Legend Bob Marley. O’Neil is the epitome of the continual progression towards achieving greatness.
