Passionate about fantasy literature since childhood, Olivier Guérard grew up immersed in the worlds of The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Farseer Trilogy, A Song of Ice and Fire, and many others. Influenced by fantasy, crime fiction, and psychological novels alike, he developed a writing style blending suspense, emotion, and complex characters. Although he had always loved writing, it was only in his late thirties that he began work on his first novel, Elsie Waldon, an urban fantasy romance published in October 2017. In March 2018, he released his second novel, L’Homme à l’amer, followed by Elsie Waldon – Book 2 in December 2018, Elsie Waldon – Book 3 in April 2020, and Elsie Waldon – Book 4 in September 2024. In March 2021, he published Isabelle and the Homeless Man, a romance suspense novel exploring darker and more realistic themes. He is currently working on Book 5 of the Elsie Waldon saga.
