“Great book for novice and experienced dancers alike - the author has no agenda other than to enable dancers to enjoy the dancing more with great tips and ideas.” Oliver Kent has been dancing tango for longer than he can remember. A self-professed tango gypsy, he dances with people from around the world, whether they be those “who just came to watch”, or maestros and maestras. He thinks a lot about social tango and has an excellent knack for problem-solving, which has led to him teaching other teachers. Having become “the guy you should ask”, he decided it was probably easier to write everything useful about social dancing down in a book. He feels that Roberto Finelli's definition of a good social dancer is a solid one: A good dancer is someone who makes happy the partner AND the people dancing around. A good dancer is someone that you WANT to dance next to you because it makes you feel better. A good dancer is able to handle the tango-jungle with elegance. A good dancer is able to keep relaxed and enjoy (and have fun together with the partner) even under the worst circumstances, without any need to complain. It turned out that he had rather more to say about how to achieve this than he realized, and so the book is becoming a trilogy (and it's looking suspiciously like there may be a fourth book to the trilogy at this rate!)
