Born in Dublin, Nikki Owen is the award-winning author of the international Project Trilogy — Subject 375, The Killing Files and The Girl Who Ran — published by HQ. Her thrillers have been translated into eleven languages and optioned by NBC for development as a one-hour drama series. Selected by Amazon as part of their Rising Star debut line-up, Subject 375 went on to win the USA Audiophile Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Foreword Reviews Book of the Year, as well as chosen for TV3’s Eire AM Book Club. In 2018, The Killing Files won the Book Noir Book of the Year and was again shortlisted for the Foreword Reviews Book of the Year. Nikki lectures in creative writing and is also a playwright and features writer. She is co-founder of This Ends Now, a non-profit working towards a world free from gender-based oppression, and the creator of The Book Coach, a nurturing space helping writers bring their stories to life.
