Nicola J Moore is an English writer and poet, specialising in children’s fiction. In 2025, Nicola published her first two picture books under her own imprint, Pernickety Pixie Publishing. Nicola's books reflect everyday experiences in a relatable and entertaining manner. They teach children the importance of acceptance, self-love and compassion for others. Nicola was born and raised in East Anglia, where she spent her childhood building dens, riding bikes and reading Enid Blyton books. She now lives in West Sussex with her family and small dog.
