Milton Schorr is a South African author, actor, speaker and storyteller whose work explores addiction, identity, recovery and the stories we use to make sense of our lives.

His memoir Addict became an Exclusive Books Biography Bestseller and draws on more than twenty years in recovery to explain addiction from lived experience. His novel Strange Fish won the South African Independent Publishers Award for Best Novel, and his autobiographical play The Heroin Diaries received the Imbewu Best Script Award.

As an actor, Schorr has appeared in productions including One Piece, Outlander, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Tomb Raider and Redeeming Love. He also works as a speaker, filmmaker and Narrative Director in African mixed martial arts.

Across books, talks and film, his work returns to the same questions: how we make sense of ourselves, how we make sense of the world, and how the stories we carry shape the lives we live.
