Michael Duda has been dreaming about lone wolf mercenaries and cool tech toys since his VHS player days. His experience designing data encryption devices for a military contracting company during the early days of drone technology development informs the tactical authenticity of the War Dogs universe. His previous works include the short story collections The Sound of Blue and Spectrum: Stories of Science Fiction, Fantasy, the Unusual and the Sometimes Ordinary. War Dogs: Pit Bull is his debut novel and the first book in a planned military science fiction series.
