Certified Meeting Professional, Mary Jo (MJ) Wiseman, spent 24+ years in the meeting and hospitality industry as a corporate meeting and event coordinator where she managed the full spectrum of the event planning process across all levels of management with an emphasis on high profile, executive level groups including senior management, Board of Directors and key customers (agents and brokers). She was a long-time member Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and served on the Education Committee and the Board of Directors of the MPI Minnesota Chapter. Between 2013 and 2018, she assisted the Development Team at WomenVenture with prospect research and special projects; today she is available for short-term consulting assignments and trip directing. She considers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys best teaching and coaching others by example. Mary Jo lives in White Bear Lake, MN with her husband James. They enjoy sailing the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior on their sailing vessel Unity.
