The relationship between human and technology fascinates me and informs my writing. My first book, 'A to Z of Digital Detoxing', looked at how digital detoxing can help digital not be toxic in our lives. I still advocate taking time away from screens and I take groups on digital detoxing adventures. My second book, Blinky's Law, is my first fiction novel and explores how emerging technologies might play out in the future in a tongue-in-cheek way. I strongly believes that it is only through fiction that we can explore the future, as the future is no longer an extension of the present. Drawing from my experience as a business consultant, tech futurist, and entrepreneur, I bring real-world insight to my fiction. I previously founded and sold a global digital marketing agency and successfully listed an online shares company on the London Stock Exchange, experiences that inform my sharp, satirical storytelling. When I'm not writing, consulting or speaking at events - including appearances on BBC, Sky, and Channel 5 - I enjoy painting pet portraits, battling slugs in my vegetable garden, and serving as the loyal human to two demanding dachshunds. I live in the UK with my wife and am a father of three.
