Mark W. Hallink is an author, entrepreneur, and lifelong learner with a passion for helping people think differently about money, technology, and the future. After founding his own company at age 23, Mark grew it from a one-man operation into a global leader in the food and beverage industry, serving clients in 24 countries. After 32 years of dedicated leadership, he sold the business in 2020 and began pursuing a lifelong goal — writing. Drawing on his Honours degree in psychology from the University of Waterloo, Mark blends real-world business experience with behavioral science to make complex topics approachable and engaging. His books explore themes ranging from financial literacy and AI communication to science fiction world-building, with a focus on empowering readers to make better decisions in an unpredictable, fast-changing world. Mark’s work and contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including Top 40 Under 40, the Technology Leadership Award for Excellence in Innovation, and a Certificate of Academic Excellence from the Canadian Psychological Association. Outside of writing, he’s a four-time World Champion in Cowboy Mounted Shooting and enjoys life in North Florida with his wife, Alice, their horses Pumpkin, Spicey, and JG, and their dog, Ima. “I write to help people navigate complexity — whether it’s money, technology, or the future we’re all building together.”
