Marita Littauer has spent a lifetime helping people understand themselves—and one another—through The Personalities.

Her connection to the subject began at age nine—nearly six decades ago—when her parents started teaching The Personalities and her father developed the popular Personality Profile. That early influence became the foundation for decades of speaking, writing, and teaching. Marita is the author of 20 books, many of which explore personality differences, relationships, and personal growth.

Her best-selling book, *Wired That Way*, continues to introduce readers to The Personalities and to the idea that understanding our differences can lead to deeper connection, less conflict, and greater peace in our most important relationships. Today, Marita continues that work through speaking and writing, the online Wired That Way Personality Profile, and her Certified Personality Trainer program, which equips others to teach The Personalities.

In 2022, Marita launched The Best-Life Project for women over 60 who believe the road ahead still matters. Now featuring hundreds of articles from a growing group of contributors, Best-Life offers invitation, inspiration, ideas, and insight for women who want to keep living these years with purpose, curiosity, connection, faith, and joy.

Away from her professional work, Marita is an enthusiastic home cook and host who loves bringing people together around the table. She also creates large-scale, décor-specific paintings, with pieces hanging in homes across the country. She enjoys travel, sporting events with her husband, time with friends, and continuing to explore all that the road ahead still has to offer.
