Margie McCartney is an engaging and effective
speaker who reminds her audience of the importance
of being open to all experiences and translating
them into personal and professional successes.
Margie has over three decades as an international
hospitality ambassador, connecting people from
different backgrounds and building beneficial networks
on three continents. Telling stories about the
importance of networking and making connections,
whether with an Ethiopian cab driver in Chicago or
an Armenian stranger in a Moscow restaurant. Margie
will entertain and educate your audience.

In June 2021, she was awarded the Meeting Professionals
International CAC Hall of Fame Award, after
previously being honored as a Supplier of the Year.
She has also been honored by Professional Conference
Managers Association, Chicago Chapter, with
the Pillar award.
McCartney is currently the Director of Global Sales
for the DMC Network and President of McCartney
Partners.

A Pelham, New York native, she has called Chicago
home for the past 32 years. An avid Chicago Cubs fan,
she lives in Wrigleyville with her husband Gary, and
their two cats, Cubbie and Harry Caray.
