Maddie has been writing love stories long enough to know they’d be a whole lot simpler if her characters would just communicate like reasonable adults. They always refuse.

Since 2015, she has published around thirty novels across contemporary romance and fantasy, as both an indie and traditionally published author. Several hundred thousand readers later, she’s still putting her characters in emotionally questionable situations, giving them secrets they really should have kept to themselves, and then sitting back to watch the damage unfold.

She likes her romances with a little edge, her heroes deeply imperfect, her heroines far too busy to wait around for someone to save them, her worlds hiding something, and her love stories complicated enough that falling in love fixes absolutely nothing.

Welcome to her world. This should go just fine.
